Thank you to the 240 or so race teams and great fans for their support of the 2011 Texas World Dirt Track Championship at Texas Motor Speedway.
It was a weekend filled with lots of quality, side-by-side racing action and drama.
Luckily the weather system that moved in overnight on Friday didn't cause any real issues by Saturday night's race time, as clear skies and nearly calm conditions were received by race fans in the stands. The breeze was from the west, which the grandstands blocked, so it was really quite comfortable if you just wore a jacket and gloves.
The entire program including 4-10 lap heats, 10-15 lap B's, 2-12 lap B's, 2-8 lap pole dashes, a 30-lap feature and two 40-lap features were completed by 10:40pm.
