What is the story on the Piedmont track and the El Reno track, I remember they talked about the track in Piedmont on TV but that is the last I heard of that.

The hearsay I have heard is two things with the Peidmont track.. One is that the group (DRP) that tried to get the Piedmont track is either broke or there is things going on.
The El Reno track I have heard is out of money..
Do not shoot the messenger as this is all what I have heard and I do not know anything for a fact.

If that is the reason then it is a damn good thing they never broke ground because it would have been a disaster. How the hell do you say you are gonna start a track up and run out of money before it ever gets started? That tells me it was gonna be a half ass operation anyway. If one is intelligent and really honestly plans on opening and operating a legitimate race track then, wouldn't you make sure you had adequate funding to do the job right? Otherwise, you are just wasting everyones time. It's kinda like putting $40,000 into a sprint car and a hauler then saying you aren't gonna go race at Meeker because gas is too high.

It is probably because you all quit buying Save Fair Speedway t-shirts and they quit getting motel money to use for their personal business...

whats sad is the city of Piedmont wanted to bring in a track, and they got the wanna be group with no money.. Sure makes it hard for a legit owner or group to come in since they dealt with it once..
