A couple of random thoughts here...

I never knew, or it totally slipped by me, that Shane competed down under

Totally forgot he once , even though briefly, drove the Casey Luna Ford

He always stated that the #51 Rio Airways/Richard Tharp sprinter was the fastest and best car he ever drove. The drag racing car owner had alot to do with that I think

What kind of people person was Shane? One only needs to recall the crowds at all the MAR-CAR promoted World of Outlaw events

One of the most underrated, most versitile drivers of all time as he won in both wing, non wing sprints and dirt champ cars

Wasn't for Shane then I wouldn't have half the older tapes that I have - and I have plenty

A person I am truely honored to call a friend

David, you need to get Shane to tell you his story about a very young Jeff Gordon while they were running 'down under.'

Hall of Fame driver. Hall of Fame person. Nice combo for Mr. Carson.
