Pete was a fierce driver in his day. Sometimes he had good equipment and sometimes he didn't. It was the times he didn't when you found out how hard he could be to beat. He won several races with his hard charging style. Would of won more but there were occasions where the car couldn't work as hard as Pete worked. It was a sincere PRIVILEGE to watch Pete race. Thank You Pistol Pete for all the thrills you gave us race fans over the years!

Now, rest in peace Pete for you have earned the right.
