North Texas IMCA modified racer Danny Burns, Sr. passed away tonight (Saturday) at Grayson County Speedway in Texas. Right after his heat race, I read where he drove through victory lane and to the backstretch where his car finally came to a stop. They got him out of the car and transported him to the hospital where he passed away on arrival.
Two weeks in a row something bad has happened to a driver while racing (see Siloam Springs last week). Drivers, please refuel yourselves and double-check yourself before you buckle in.
