New Crown Jewel event will be held at Batesville Motor Speedway in 2011

BATESVILLE MOTOR SPEEDWAY promoter, Mooney Starr, has announced that on May 19-21, 2011, a new crown jewel event will be held at Batesville Motor Speedway. Full details will be released at this year’s COMP CAMS TOPLESS 100.

“We know that most late model drivers like racing at Batesville Motor Speedway and that our fan base for late models is great, especially in the southern part of the country,” Starr said. “We are going to make twenty-six lucky drivers happy, and at the same time, some lucky fan will get a big surprise,” Starr continued.

A true Crown Jewel Event must pay at least six figures. The complete payout for this event will top $150,000, which is the 3rd largest in the country.
