I want to personally thank everyone for making our first night back a great one. Drivers, if you have not received a phone call from me yet, you will. Unfortunatley, there were some folks not available and I left a message. Please call if you have any ideas or questions, the lines of communication are always open
I have been having calls about some of the things going on, so I will try and answer most of the questions .
First of all, lineups will be by point average, except modifieds. Since we have IMCA Sports Mods and that is how IMCA does things, it is easier to have all classes the same except the modifieds. We will use the system like we used last Saturday night and that is what we will continue to do.
Second, The sport mods are IMCA sanctioned and drivers must have an IMCA sport mod license to race in the sport mod class. If you just purchased one on line, please bring your conformation notice you can print off the computer with you, to the track to show your purchased the license.
All phone numbers will be posted on the home page of the website. If you have a tech question, please call Joe, the best tech man in Ok. Do not call the PR guy as it is not a PR question, please call Joe. If it is a PR question, the PR guy will be happy to answer your question. That is why all the numbers are posted.
While I am on the subject of PR, I asked everyone at the driver's meeting to let me know the name of their local newspaper. I do not want to miss any one's paper as I have been working to make sure all the papers get results every week. We did make the Dallas Morning News results (sports) section in Tuesday's(I think) paper. My goal is have every town's paper that has a LCS driver getting something from me weekly.
If you have raced at LCS this year and did not fill out a new registration form last Saturday night, we will need you to please fill out another one as there is more information needed on the form. They must be filled out completely. There is no registration fee required, we just the additional driver's information.
CiCi's Pizza is on-board for the kids' activities. We will have a bike race, footrace, or some event for the kids every Saturday night, sponsored by the fine folks at the Ardmore Cici's Pizza starting this Saturday night with a kids' footrace.
Thanks again, and I am looking forward to greeting everyone Saturday night.
