well if you like sprint cars more def. outlaw.
but even if you like full bodied cars - you should still go to Outlaw.
Creek County has some very severe problems. with both running a show and their track proper. they lengthened the straightaways but the banking in turns 1 and 2 doesn't support it at all. They do have good stock car racing on it - mods, street stocks, etc. - but the late models I think will be very much like the sprints. Not only do they have the power and speed like sprints - but the cars are much bigger - and until they add banking to turn 1-2.........the top side wont even be halfway up the track for faster stuff.
but hey I hope I'm wrong and it turns out ok. its really great that they are trying to run various specials. but they gotta get rid of the damn lincoln logs in the infield and do SOMETHING to turn 1-2. take the hot pit back out or add banking - SOMETHING. btw - if they are running more than 2 local classes - be prepared to be there 6-8 hours. Every caution and ensuing lineup is an elongated disaster up there. I was their for their opener and the ASCS show - and the only thing that saved the ascs show was Emmit being there to run it right and prep the track proper, and their opener had a 6pm scheduled start time and I left at 1am before any feature had gotten underway so I could be back home by 330am. only bad race I have seen this year was their opener. Their 3rd and most recent show sounds like it was exactly like their opener - started at 4pm and wasnt over til near 1am.
But who knows maybe this is the week they turn it around ;) But if those are your 2 options - I would strongly recommend Outlaw.

I know we don't know what we are doing but Chris Smith will be in the flag stand for the late models and I will be assisting with announcing their weekly program. MARS has their own announcer and scorer and I am sure all of us will be assisting to help them and make sure all things run smooth.
The thing some of you don't know is that nobody was able to guide those track workers in the booth with things to make it easier. They just have had a rocky start and shouldn't be thrown to the wolves after just two races.
We hope to have things run alot smoother tonight and hope to see alot of you there.

I am going to Creek County, every race I have been to at Outlaw has been unbelievably boring. I went to a USMTS race their earlier this year and it was aweful. Absolutely no passing at all, Sprint cars may be better but I am not taking that chance with Terry Phillips, Jeremy Payne, Kelly Boen, Ken Schraeder, Wendell Wallace and so many other great drivers not far away.
Can I change my name to ModifiedFanRob?
