MDLMS Now Offers Bonus Money to Regulars and Travelers by Dusty Wiegert RAMONA, Kan. -- For those racers farthest from home and the ones that support the Midwest DIRTcar Late Model Series most often the pot just got a little sweeter for 2010. Courtesy of MidwestDirt.com, a website devoted to news and results in the central states area, drivers will now pick up some extra cash in unique situations. They are as follows: FOR THE TRAVELERS: If you travel more than 200 miles one way to one of our races you will earn NO LESS THAN $250 if you start the A Feature. (For example, if you finish 20th and are scheduled to receive $200 you will receive $250 instead) If you travel 300 or more miles one way to one of our races you will earn NO LESS THAN $300 if you start the A Feature. FOR THE SERIES REGULARS: If you have made 5 events in the season you are eligible to recieve NO LESS THAN $250 if you start the A Feature. If you have made 10 events in the season you are eligible to recieve NO LESS THAN $300 if you start the A Feature. CO-SANCTIONED EVENTS: Drivers must sign in as MDLMS cars to be eligible for the bonus money to be paid. This bonus money is paid by MidwestDirt.com and doesn't affect the normal purse as paid by the track itself. All drivers must be members of UMP to be eligible for the bonus money. All bonus money plans are in affect starting this weekend May 7-8 at the inaugural Six Shooter Showdown at the Dodge City Raceway Park.
