It was said on another post that the ORA needs to regroup, that is in the works. We all agree it needs to be the Oklahoma Racing Association and not the Oklahoma City Racing Association.

I would also like to bring up the fact that the Racing Facility at the Fairgrounds is owned by the City of Oklahoma City therefore making it owned by the citizens of OKC. Although they have a third party group Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. controlling day to day activities.

The Oklahoma State Fair, Inc is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation that serves the people of Oklahoma and is dedicated to continuing the organisation's heritage of education, entertainment, and economic development through the operation of State Fair Park and the annual State Fair.

I am by no means a Lawyer, but there seems to be allot of red flags here.

First of all how can you claim to be Incorporated, a Corporation, and a Not-For-Profit organisation all in the same paragraph.

Not to mention the registered name Oklahoma State Fair. Should that not make the decisions of the fate of the entire park a State wide vote.

I guess I'm confused, how can the City of Oklahoma City bill the site as a State wide venue, yet the hired Third Party is allowed to make all of the decisions concerning the the future of a public owned facility.
