There has been a schedule change to the April 3 Cowtown Speedway racing program.

Modifieds will now be racing for $1,000 to win and $100 to start ($50 entry fee at gate) and the Cowtown Sprints have been removed from the night's schedule.

The next sprint car event will be 2 weeks later when the ASCS sanctioned Sprint Series points event will be at Cowtown (April 17).

Adult grandstand tickets are still $12 on April 3.

4/1 AM UPDATE:

And right on schedule, April showers are set for a return to the D/FW area on Friday; but the forecast in Kennedale for Saturday is sunny and mid-70's.

As soon as we see how much precip falls tomorrow, we'll know if it will affect Saturday's scheduled races at Cowtown Speedway.

At
www.CowtownSpeedway.com the latest in official event news will be posted within minutes of any change.

Have a great Easter weekend and if the weather holds together, we hope you can spend part of it at Cowtown Speedway on Saturday night!

4/1 PM UPDATE:

IT'S BACK...

And now there is a $1000 added purse to the modifieds on Saturday night.

The top 6 modifieds from the heats will go to a dash that pays $500-$300-$200.

With the $1000 to win for the feature race, it's a possible $1500 payday for the modifieds Saturday - should make for a great night of racing!

Finally, a Saturday where there's no weather drama involved:

The forecast for 7pm race time is 75 and sunny with 10mph winds out of the SE (to your back in the stands) dropping to 65 by 11pm with a 7mph wind out of the SE.

Have a great Easter weekend and if your plans include Cowtown Speedway racing tonight, you're sure to see another night of action packed racing!
