I really want to post the '74 Hutch fire and some of the shows from the 1984 NCRA champ car season but I can't figure out how to download them for You-Tube. Can somebody please, step by step, explain to me how it is done? Brian Satterwhite and I keep playing phone tag with each other and haven't been able to meet up so I could give him some of these to copy.

Also I have my own flip tape that needs to be converted to DVD that features Jack Moulton/Terry Guinns crash on Knoxvilles front stretch causing Moultons broken leg, Jerry Stone flipping out of Knoxville (over the fence) on the same night, the Jerry Potter fire at Tulsa Speedway where several cars crashed into him causing a massive fire among many others.

I'd come up there and get them monday or tuesday if you want. I have the time and gas this week!LOL

for youtube:

I have to burn them to DVD-under 10 minutes long

Import or upload into "my videos"

go to youtube, and click on "upload"

Just like browsing for pictures, go to "my Documents" or "my videos" --look for the video you want, and just click on it

note--10 minute videos can take 4 hours to completely upload.

David if you've got the videos burned to DVD, it's like Brian said you have to get them back on your computer from the DVD. Click on My Computer and click the drive with your race DVD in it. Highlight the video or videos you want on the DVD and right-click, then "copy". Open the folder My Videos in documents. Right-click in this folder and click "paste". This should copy the videos from your DVD disk in your DVD drive and paste them in your My Videos folder... then you're ready to get them on Youtube.

If you're sure the videos are less than ten minutes long, you're ok. If you're not sure, watch the video and fast forward to the end. Check the elapsed time at the bottom of the player near the progress bar and make sure it shows less than 10 minutes at the end of the video.

Sign in to Youtube. When you're signed in there is an Upload button in the upper right hand corner of your account page. Click that and from there it's like Brian said... go to My Videos, select the video you want then click OK. It will start to upload to your youtube page.
