I picked up a new, never worn, BCRA jacket at the KAR auction this weekend. The jacket belonged to Wayne Panter and shows he had a CAE sprint #2. Did a google and the only list I got that made sense is from the Lubbock area. He was at the banquet a year ago, in Dodge City, and I believe he said he was from Lubbock. At that time, he was in his 90's, and did not make it to the banquet this year.

The google list showed a Wayne Panter had an article in the Lubbock paper in 1970 about a memorial race being held for Johnny(Bud) Huskey, who died at a Lubbock track in a sprint car in 1970.

I am trying to get info on Wayne, and let him know the jacket is in good hands. If they want it, it is going to the High Banks museum in Belleville

.
