Here is your chance to make a change, if you live in OKC. Steve Hunt has entered the March election for mayor, opposed to ol' Mick. I don't know anything about him or his views, but he opposed Maps3 so he couldn't be all bad. The ORA or the Save the Fair group should contact him soon and see if he is behind our efforts or not and then maybe we can help him get elected. Read the article in todays paper, page 11c. It might be too little, too late, but its probably worth a try. Lets help send Mick back to the Tennis Center in Will Rogers park with Brad Lund and those other boys who hang out there.

I had someone contact me via facebook about him. I have already made a couple of phone calls. One of us will get ahold of him and ask him about his stance.

I was under the impression that Corrnett was not running again.

Paper has him running as well as direct quotes from him acting as if he is running again.

I believe the mayors office does not have term limits, but if there is a term limit he has only served one full term because he took over the last two years of Kirk Humphries second term when he left to run for the senate. There was talk that Mick was gonna run for Mary Fallins seat in the House of Representatives when she decided to run for governor. He turned it down saying he was gonna continue to be mayor.
