Anyone interested in early OKC racing might enjoy an article in the Jan. issue of Fastlane. Indy cars in OKC in 1915....Barney Oldfield racing on Drexel, etc. However, the printing cut off one important line in the article, and that is TO BE CONTINUED.....it's a two-parter. The second half will run in February, and no, I ain't gonna tell you who won. I will tell you it wasn't a Jennings. Back then, the mayor closed all the city offices in the afternoon on race day so everyone could attend. Guess things have changed. ;)
