After reading the posts on the demise of SFS, I got to wondering. Do you have some disabled people who attend the races on a regular basis? It appears to me they are being punished by closing the speedway instead of fixing the ADA issues. Those people should get together to get an injunction in order to keep it open until the issues can be resolved. Maybe this a little out there, but sometimes just pushing buttons isn't enough, you have to look for the right buttons to push. Maybe you all can expand on this thread with some better ideas. Good luck to you guys. After growing up around Tulsa Speedway, and having a racer in the family for something like 35 years, I hate to see you guys end up like we did.
I believe I read in one of the posts where your mayoral election is coming up in March? You guys need to keep this issue in forefront. The city councilor who was the main one to push for the demise of Bell's Amusement Park at the Tulsa Fairgrounds went down to defeat easily in her next reelection bid.

Man that small print was hard to read. But a good point. If they do close it down for that reason all of the other places on the fairgrounds should have to comply with the ADA also!
