Saturday night the Oil Capital Racing Series will travel into Kansas for their first visit ever to C. Ray Hall's historic 81 Speedway. Located in the North Wichita community of Park City at 7700 North Broadway, 81 Speedway has been run by the Hall family for many years and is also the home of the National Championship Racing Association.
Last Saturday defending champion Jamie Passmore won for the first time in 2009 to became the eighth winner in 12 events. Passmore will travel to 81 Speedway sporting a 69 point lead over Danny Smith. Positions three through five are knocking on the door with Jonathan Beason just 32 points behind Smith in third. Rafe Essary is only one point behind Beason in fourth and rounding out the top five just 17 points back is Matt Sherrell.
If you are driving up the Kansas Turnpike from Oklahoma exit at the South Wichita exit then take I-135 North to exit 16 which is 77th street. Turn left and drive 0.7 miles to Broadway.
