Kennedale TX (8/31/09) by DarinShort.com. After an absence of many years, the thunder of the full-blown Late Models will return to Cowtown Speedway this coming Saturday, September 5th.
The event is sponsored by LenMar Motorsports of Mansfield Texas and will pay $1,000 to the feature winner and $100 to start. There will also be payback in the Late Model heat races. A full field of Late Models are expected.
Joining the Late Models will be the Cowtown Modifieds which will be racing for a $1,000 to win dash and a $1,000 to win feature race event that pays $100 to start...one lucky Modified driver could leave Cowtown Speedway with $2,000!
Plus, the exciting Winged 600's, Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks and Bombers round out the racing card.
And race fans: all of this at 'normal' Saturday night pricing of just $12 for adult admission, $2 for kids and $5 for youth. Pit passes are also normal price of $25. Gates open 5pm, hot laps at 6:30 and races at 7pm sharp.

Late Model teams, here are the details for your race:
-$1000/win, $100 to start feature
-Heats pay $30-20-10 each
-Rules: basic SUPR rules apply
-SUPR 55 series tires only
-2350# weight rule if you run Devil's Bowl Spec Engine
-2150# if you run the SUPR Spec Engine
-All teams must prominently display the provided LenMar Motorsports sponsorship sticker on their car or must pay a $30 entry fee.
-No entry fee if you are running the LenMar provided sticker.
Modified teams:
-As with all previously scheduled $1,000 to win modified nights in 2009, there is a $50 entry fee for the Modifieds.
