the Oil Capital Racing Series returns to Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, KS this Saturday night. OCRS drivers meeting is at 6:pm, hot laps are at 6:45 and racing begins at 7:30. this weekends race will be a combo race with the NCRA 305 sprints.

it would be nice to see some OKC and Meeker cars at CVS. it is a racey little track and just a neat place to go.

| OCRS Invades Caney Valley Speedway on Saturday |
Tulsa, Oklahoma (June 16, 2009) - The points lead will be on the line when the OCRS makes its first stop at the Caney Valley Speedway on Saturday. Only seventeen points separate the top three with Matt Sherrell holding a slim eight-point lead over defending champion Jamie Passmore. Danny Smith is just nine points behind Passmore in third. Sherrell and Passmore are both looking for their first victory of the season while Smith won two races ago at Outlaw Motor Speedway. Rafe Essary is fourth in points just 29 points behind Smith and Mike Goodman holds a one-point lead over Evan Sewell for the fifth spot. Gates open Saturday at 4 p.m. with racing getting underway at 7:30.
