Just wanted to tell you, "Cheese" that I was pulling for you all night and am really glad to see you get a strong third place finish. You should be proud as I know I am for you.

Also, a great run to you too, Jeff, as you were really strong. Just seemed that Danny was on a rail tonight.

Good racing and got over just in the knick of time.

Congrats Cheese!!!!!!!! Great run tonight. A heat win and a third place finish in the 'A'. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In the words of the late Jack Buck...."That's a Winner!!"

hella good run Cheese!

wanted to give ya props after the show - but ya'll were in the infield quite a while - and once that cooler air blew in - knew it was bout to rock n roll.

But you ran great dude - had them elbows up! - you had it goin' dam good at the point til you came upon that lapped car! lol ;)

We're planning on going to Port City tomorrow - so if ya'll go look us up in the stands and say whats up. hope they didnt get too much rain

btw - where was Bruce tonight? cant remember the last time he wasnt runnin SFS - did he hurt the motor at Meeker or sumthin?

Great run by both guys. They both deserve it. Just wondering though if Cheese is still upset about the draw??

Thanks guys! Ol' Maxine was hooked up and I think if I had more exerience with lap traffic I could have taken that one home. The motor was giving absolutely all that it had, and considering I had the oil pan off of it at 2pm on Friday everything worked out great.

It was a great night in more than one way though. My girlfriend of 4 years Melissa (yes sorry ladies I'm taken) graduated pre-med from OU. She got to sit on the stage with the staff as she was Summa Cum Laude and picked as one of the 2 College of Arts and Sciences (the biggest college within OU) outstanding seniors. I am very proud of her.

On the draw...I still hate it. The top 3 were from the first 2 rows I believe, and the only car that passed anyone was Darren. The draw doesn't make for good racing as the 2 times we've done it the winner has come from the first few rows. Of course, I believe that with the fast rough track we had there wouldn't have been any passing anyway. Even if I was lucky enough to be leading points I wouldn't like the draw, it's not good for weekly racing.

I agree, that track was bad but I'm glad we all got to see em race last night. Better than the alternative. Sittin at home. I got 250 channels of nothing to watch most of time. Sad thing is, I pay for that crap. lol

Congrats Cheese! Good to see the old motor running good for ya! I guess I'll start razzing you everynight! LOL!

Great job to Jeff as well, I have to tell everyone that Jeff called me Friday morning to tell me that the Memorial race was cancelled and he was gonna swap the engine back to the injected car. He said he was gonna do it by himself and I offered some help. He didn't even have a motor in the car at 1pm and we put the car in the trailer at 3! He really worked his butt off for the night.
