Kennedale TX (4/14/09) DarinShort.com. Due to the sprint points opener at Cowtown Speedway being rained out earlier in the season, this coming Saturday, April 18th, will become their season opener. Double points are on the line.
A full field of ASCS-type rules sprint cars can be expected, including Kevin Ramey, Michael Lang, George White, Rodney Henderson and a host of many more of the area's top drivers.
Joining the sprint cars will be the highly anticipated Winged 600's Cowtown Challenge, which will pay a minimum of $1,080 to $1,800 to win their feature event.
Also, the fire-breathing Cowtown modifieds (including last week's $2000 winner, George White, performing double duty), limited modifieds, street stocks and the bombers round out the racing card.
