I see on the Grove's message board they have cancelled the 25th. Anybody down there (PA.) shed any light on Lincoln's opener?

Someone said they are going to wait and see how things look. Supposed to get in the upper 40's this week. Will most likely count on if enough parking is usable.

I hear ya. Not as much melted off today as I had hoped for...the parking lots will be a mess. No one wants to stand outside in the 40 degree weather and see a bunch of race cars get torn up. If it was supposed to be in the 50's, then I would say it might be worth giving it a shot. There will be plenty of other opportunities this year to see Rahmer kick Esh's ass... .

SEASON OPENER CANCELED
Lincoln Speedway promoters Don and Bob Leiby, along with Alan Kreitzer have announced that the scheduled Northeast Season Opener scheduled for this Saturday, February 24th has been canceled.
They will try again next Saturday afternoon, March 3rd at 2PM with the Northeast season opener featuring the 410 Sprints in the 30-lap $3,500-to-win "Ice Breaker 30", along with the Thundercars in the "Spring Thaw 20".
