Left to right

 

Jim McElreath- Dizz Wilson #71

Russ Long- Hansen chevy #12

Buzz Rose- Dizz Wilson Offy #70

Harold Leep - Chet Wilson chevy #25

Bill Horstmeyer- Whitehorse chevy #99

Johnny Rutherford- Dizz Wilson Offy #73

 

Leep finished 2nd while Rose took fourth.

 

No idea who won.

The fine print said Pete Folse was leading & out of the picture on his way to the win. He was likely driving Hector Henore's black 2. Herald Leep was a threat to win anywhere he raced. ...Luther

It was also horrendous on engines. Valves & valve seats would round out from the dust....Luther
