The planets are aligned for possibly the BIGGEST college game in history between Ohio State and Michigan. There is a REAL possibility that they could meet again for the National Championship!!!!

There is no way Michigan and Ohio State will play in the National Championship. Everyone knows that the NCAA wants two different markets. They are within a state of each other and they are both Big 10. I say the chance is slim that the NCAA puts them against each other just cause they want more money.

Rutgers won't just cause they are in an 'easier' confrence. It is easy to go un defeated when you have like one hard team to play all season. but yeah, they are still good.

I disagree, Louisville would have gone to the championship if they hadn't lost to rutgers...that's are hard team. Also they play W. Virginia in a week or two that was ranked #3 when Louisville beat them.

IT would have been Louisville and OhioState in the Championship game. Based souly o na few reasons. A) They are two different markets to sell TV too and fans. 2) NCAA knows that Ohio will prolly beat who ever it is going against them, so why not make it Louisville and take the chance of them Ville winning and it being like one of the all time best upsets in history generating more money than if like Michigan happen to win.

Isn't Louisville about the same distance from Columbus as Ann Arbor is?? I think it is funny that you think just because Rutgers is in an "easy" conference that going undefeated is something easy to do. Michigan and Ohio State were lucky to have their hiccups against teams with far less talent. I think if Rutgers were to go undefeated it would be a truely remarkable feat for them. Does that mean they are one of the top 2 teams in the country? Probably not. I don't think they will get by West Virgina at Morgantown. In my opinion, Ohio State and Michigan are the 2 best teams in the country this year and probably not in that order. I think if it is a 3 point game or less, there could be a rematch.

i think a rematch of osu and mu is very possible no matter the score of the game...remember the computer choses not people or logic....the computer takes all kinds of number into account.....but im sure that the last number that is a factor is ticket sales so yea rutgers is gunna at best be number 3 in the country....that is just how it works.....who knows maybe boise state and rutgers will battle it out for number three doubt ful but two good lesser conference teams that are having good seasons...

The computer only makes up 1/3 of the BCS formula, the human polls make up 2/3, so don't put to much emphasis on the computer. On ESPN today they said that Rutgers only has the 66th strongest schedule in country, on the other hand USC with one loss has the 2nd strongest schedule and Michigan is number one! They are saying that there is almost no way Rutgers will play for the title because if there is ANY one loss teams, they will have a higher ranking in both the human polls and the computer.
If ALL the one loss teams lose, Michigan would probably get a repeat with Ohio State before Rutgers would get a chance, and if any of the one loss team (USC, Florida, Notre Dame, Arkansas) would remain with one loss, they would also get to play the Ohio State/Michigan winner before Rutgers.
It is a flawed system, but it is what we got right now. Maybe Rutgers can play Boise State in a bowl game, lol!

Funny Jon, you beat me to it with the Jackhole. Ann Arbor is 193 miles from Columbus and Loisville is 205. BOTH are in neighboring states, granted, Louisville is not in the same league as the Buckeyes.
As for a possible rematch....forget it....As much as I would like to see it, as long as any other of the BCS biggies has just one loss team, chances are better that the BCS will take them rather than a rematch. If Michigan loses, I can see taking someone else. But if the Buckeyes were to get upset by a point or three, I think it would be a shame to see them not get the rematch after being the clear number one all year. I know, if they are number one they wouldn't lose to Michigan, but we all know what can happen against another quality team these days of equal scholarship limits. Especially true with the depth of this rivalry.
If you have a couch and you want to get rid of it, just drop it off around Lane St. near campus in Columbus and I'll guarantee you it gets burned. I don't know who's bright idea it was to change the game to a 3:30 start from the usual noon kickoff, but can you imagine what will happen with an extra 3 1/2 hours to drink and a game that will now end after dark.

yeah, i was wrong about the miles thing but i more meant they were in different confrences. IT is not a hidden fact the NCAA likes to have different markets in a Bowl game. You would never see like Iowa State and Iowa against one another in a Championshp game. and not just cause ISU sucks.
Very rare will you ever see the two deserving teams in the Champion bowl game. Something else has to be done to figure out who is to go. I mean, why can't NCAA have playoff games or do anything different other than voting and bidding.
Louisville and Ohio State would be more money to them. Money Money Money
