On December 2^nd 2008 Darrell Whiteside lost his battle with cancer.

A driver and also car owner for Hershel Thompson in 74-76.Darrell also was chief mechanic for Harold Leep during the early 80’s while he was driving John Stuttsman’s #70.

There were a few friends of Darrell's at his funeral, including Harold Leep, Jerry Stone, Jim Ozment, Gene Mayer, and Hershel Thompson.

RIP Mr. Whiteside!!!
