Even though ESPN thinks football is a 24/7 sport, 365 days of the year, tonight is FINALLY football time as several college games are being played.
This brings us the question, does Friday night high school football come before your racing? Does college football Saturday come before your racing?
Promoters are scared to schedule Friday night races (especially special events) due to high school football. Promoters also cringe at the thought that one of the major college powers have night races.
Which one above applies too you?
Not for you Mossman, we already know.

I don't travel to races much anymore, and my high school didn't have a football team, and I have no high school age children, so for me, racing at the fairgrounds does not conflict with my love of college football (of course, now that there are not many races after August, it hardly matters).
I will be at the OU/Texas game, which always seems to fall on the same weekend as the Winter Nationals, so I choose football.

Just about everything comes before racing for me anymore.
OU/Texas in October, vacations, NBA basketball, you name it. I go 9/10 to select my Thunder season seats.

I love racing and football so this is a tough one! But, my daughter cheers for her high school so I have to choose Friday night football first:)
GOD, Family, Dirt Track Racing, OU Football, and the
Dallas Cowboys is what we live for:)

I can record a OU game. Then watch it after I get home from the races as long as no one talks about the final score, which is very hard to do. Over all racing comes first to me atleast untel my son gets old enough to play then family would have to come first.
