TULSA, Okla. (August 25, 2008) - Two races are on tap for this weekend as the OCRS travels to Outlaw Motor Speedway on Friday followed by a stop at West Siloam Speedway on Saturday.
Jamie Passmore is leading the points race and will take a 118 point lead over Mike Goodman into Friday's event at Outlaw. It will be the fourth stop of the season at the high-banked 3/8's mile and Goodman will be looking to repeat after winning the last race at Outlaw on July 26. Passmore won the June 27 event while Kenneth Walker won back on April 18. Passmore and Goodman have each won four feature races this season but Goodman has been on a roll lately winning three of the last four events. Race time at Outlaw Friday is 8 p.m.
Saturday the OCRS will roll into West Siloam for the second time this season. Danny Smith won that one as well as one last season. West Siloam is located on U.S. Highway 412 just 5.5 miles west of the Oklahoma-Arkansas state line. Race time is 7 p.m.
