You left out one thing. Local cars do not have to pay the entry fee only out of town cars. HUMMMM.

Are you implying something? The race has been that way for the last two years. If I remember correctly someone stated that the lack of entry fee for the local cars was a way to thank them for supporting the track all year. Not a bad idea if you ask me. Haven't seen it mentioned yet this year, though.

The thing that has kept us from going is the rear pumps rule {I see they changed that}. I'm sure the quick change rule might hurt car count with so many mods going to that. But now that they changed that rear pump rule we might just go there instead of Enid. Hey Dog do you know what Gear Chevys run?

I don't get the no quickchange rule. You lose a small amount of HP w/ the quickchange, and it's actually cheaper in the long run to have one. Gears cost $100 each rather than $300 +. Not including the time it takes to change gears and the current cost of gear oil isn't exactly cheap either. This is one of those rules that needs to be erased all around for the modifieds.

Yeah. The way I understand it, I think the rear pump rule kept quite a few from going the past. I was glad to see that was changed. I agree about the quick change rearends though. Seems to be the direction the class is heading... while the intial expense sucks for the ones who have already invested in the old rear ends, I think its a change that is for the best in the long run. I'm not sure on the gear. Sorry. Anyway, I wish you guys the best of luck if you guys decide to make the pull out there.
