Can anybody tell me an easy way to free up bolts that have been installed with loctite (red)? I prefer not to use heat, if possible, in this case.

OK, here's what I have learned about freeing loctite bolts without heat. If you can apply motor oil to the threads for several days, it will loosen them. It won't do any good to apply oil to the bolt heads. Also, although I did not try this myself, I had an aircraft crew chief tell me he has used acetone. (fingernail polish remover) Also, you have to be able to apply it to the bolt threads.
