Well the typical Lawton racing. Black flag one car for a little bumping and let the others beat each other up on the track and off. It's no wonder the car count is down in Lawton. I recommend everyone race at Lawton if your into Bar room racing, a little bumping and alot of fighting.

it aint all that ridiculous - its the dude's opinion and most would agree he aint all that far off. if lanny and his supporters are tired of seeing the pissing and moaning - there is a fix to it (hint hint).
lawton does not have many cars so if on top of that they cant even get the calls right - i'm just saying there is a lot to complain about. this probably woulda been happening every year since lanny been promoting - but for the longest there was no internet. now there is - and if people want to bitch about how things are - they have a right to. doesn't matter if it is a broken record or not - some would say the mistakes the officials make at SFS and lawton are like broken records too.
its awesome that there is ths forum to talk about cool stuff and see results and stuff. thats a big positive. but i dont think the bitching about sfs or lawton should be considered negative really. this forum means news and information - and the door swings both ways. there are going to be positive AND negative things to talk about. its the nature of it IMO.

did the internet ruin racing, or, did racing ruin the internet?
to the one that said, "there's much to complain about"... tell me, why?
simple solution, don't go! in two threads, there has been nothing different said, and nothing obvious has been done to fix whatever it is you folks want fixed.
you guys might not have thought about the fact, that might be how they want THEIR track to be run.. they own it, they can do what they want.. all the complaining in the world will not fix it!
complain about gas and milk prices, those are high everywhere... race tracks aren't the same, try a different one.

we could complain about other stuff - and we do. but even the most full of shit people like me recognize this is a racing forum and try to stick with that most of the time. in fact I stick with racing 99% of the time on this forum - I leave the political talk on the general sprint car forum.
but anyhow - the idea you propose of not going - where in the hell does that help? I dont know if you read it - by I already detailed what would happen if everyone not happy with the direction of the track did that. For that to happen en masse - Lanny would have to do to sfs what he did at lawton.........and if he did that here - by the time he rolled out the fair board would have all the reason they need to tear it down. so not going doesn't help. but I sense that you are completely shanking where the core of the problem lies when you ask what there is to complain about - - - instead of going into a lengthy rant - you can just look at the last 3 or 4 oages of the forum and get the idea. i may rant later - but dont feel up to it right now.
and btw - the internet has helped racing tremendously. i didn;t even know about ascs until 2000. it opened up all the news of races in the whole area. granted much of that is because i didn't go as much in the late 90's. but as soon as i got around to lookin at allt he race stuff on the net - - - been hooked like a SOB ever since. I loved dirt track racing since I was a lil kid. but you get around the 16 or 17 year old stage and you get into other things. yeah once I found this forum and other track and series websites - I started going to races all over the damn place. also met some really cool folks through the net - mostly in racing and on this forum. so IMO the internet has helped racing tremendously.

It is "their track" and their track is suffering from it. I know they read this forum and it is a way to vent so that they can hear us without reprocusions. I think it works quite well. Whether or not they choose to change falls under the catagory "their track" but its my money and choice to spend it there or not. And by the way dont you people sarcasm ?

lol, well, you have your points. I can assure you lanny don't get on here himself... pooh prints it off for him, he's computer ignorant, and by the time he reads the printed copy, he's forgot about it... I told one of the edwards' sons about it myself, did anything change in the last couple of weeks? that's my point.
