Looking for some help here....I noticed months ago on TK's web site before the season started, that he has the USAC Eastern swing on his sked for the first week of June....Does anyone out there know if TK still has plans on coming in to race these shows, that sked was put up awhile ago, and in racing plans always change (on his site he even has multiple tracks on the same dates listed, I guess a decision wasn't made yet)....Many of us here in Pa are really looking forward to these USAC shows, last years races were AWESOME, GREAT RACING, AWESOME CROWDS, and if TK would come in and join the fun, that would be INCREDIBLE....Thanks in advance for any news concerning TK's plans for the upcoming USAC Eastern swing....The first month of June can't get here fast enough.

I don't have a clue about the USAC races back there. But after spending the last several weeks back here in Cali, out of the rain, TK and the #10 Rolf team have been stated to be headed back east after running the Dave Bradway Jr Memorial in Chico this weekend to run with the WoO at Lowes next weekend, 5/23. So being in the area, and wanting to run some non-wing shows, he may hit the USAC races as previously listed.

Hey Chicofan, THANKS a bunch for the info....if what ya said pans out about them heading East, I can see them hitting the USAC shows, since they are on their sked, thanks again.

Things are pretty much up in the air for the 10 Tom Rolf Trucking sprint car. Lack of funding, etc have forced some changes there..........

I am sorry to hear news about lack of funding... It seems like the bad economy has hit everyone these days! I hope he is at least able to still race locally for the time being. I really enjoying getting to watch him and all the other great drivers we have here in CA :)
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

This lack of funding sounds fishy. TK has done a great job, seems like he has finished in top 5 everytime out. Wasn't there a picture before the season started of 5 new cars & motors on his website? Hes raced about 15 times, something does not add up.

If you didn't read, Joel McCray of JF McCray Plastering passed away a few weeks ago and was a major sponsor on the 10 car. What you have and have having the funds to run it are two different things............

I got a little more info after the races tonight at Chico. Talked to a crew member on the #10 and he said they weren't going east until the middle of June. He wasn't sure at what point they "would pick up the other cars." I imagine the "other cars" include the non-wingers.
BTW, TK put on a great show tonightbut didn't last for the finish! Started 15th (apparently due to a problem in TT's which I didn't see). Started passing people on the high side right away, in typical TK style, and had worked his way up to 3rd with about 4 laps to go when he and Mike Henry made contact and TK went off the back of the turn 4 embankment. He kept it running but drove directly to the hauler. The crew said the contact flatened the left front tire and he pulled it in to save it for the big race tomorrow. It is always entertaining when TK is in the race, especially when he starts toward the back. :)
