New York, NY, 4/24/08 – This edition of the Knoxville Highlights is strictly motivation to get out to the track and enjoy some really fast competitive racing this coming Saturday. The 360's will be making their 2008 debut and of course all eyes will be centered on Donny Schatz and his fellow Outlaws as they take to the track. What is the motivation? Check out what happened last April 28th on Race/Network now!
Currently in the Knoxville Highlights Media player are the 360 and WoO Outlaw race from April 28, 2007. A year ago this week the World of Outlaws visited the big half mile and put on a great show full of passing and multiple racing lines. The track was big and wide and Donny Schatz made the most of it and an uncharacteristic bobble by Joey Saldana to take the victory. It wasn't easy as Kerry Madsen fought Schatz for most of the race only to succumb to mechanical problems.
Chuck Swenson found the bottom to his liking and won the 360 portion of last year's event. Watch last years race now on racenetwork.tv and get pumped for Saturday's first visit by the World of Outlaws. Tickets are available at http://www.knoxvilleraceway.com.
Remember the King Doodlebug and Knoxville Midget Nationals will be LIVE on racenetwork.tv this coming June 20th & 21st. Those events will also include the 360 Sprint Cars on Friday Night and 410 Sprint Cars on Saturday Night. If you can't make the race in person, order your PPV now in the Member Area of Race/Network.
