SMRS OPENER IS 4 DAYS AWAY !!!!!
OUTLAW MOTOR SPEEDWAY AND WEST SILOAM SPEEDWAY, IT IS TIME.!!!!!
With the season opener just four days away, it is getting very close to time to have fun again. I talked to the G.M at the Outlaw today and he said the forecast is improving. It may rain Thursday night into Friday morning and then it is going to clear. The weather man said the rain will be spotty and stay mainly to the north. Sat. at West Siloam is all clear. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 50s and low 60s. The G.M. at the Outlaw said we WILL RACE.!!! West Siloam is gearing up for us also. Promoter Trish Bates and Owner Rick Magnuson are excited and anxious to get us there. On the motel deal, you might want to check the Super 8 and Motel 6 as I have been told their rates are considerably more reasonable. Had a email from Mr. Bones Bourcier in Indy who writes for Speedway Illustrated indicating that he might well cover our opening day shows. Talked to Russ Harper in Indy, and they are leaving Thurs morning. The way thngs are shaping up, this looks like a great opening weekend. I hope everyone has a safe trip and I will see you at the Outlaw on Friday night. Before I forget, starting Friday around 10, the only way to get ahold of me will be at 918-774-6746.
