This is for you Hook, as you posted below:
As some of you may know, IMCA was forced to pull their sanction from Texas Motor Speedway's Lone Star Nationals at the Dirt Track. Last year's LSNs were highly successful by most accounts but the local IMCA promoters don't want a sanctioned race at TMS claiming it hurts their shows. Texas IMCA faithful are hoping they change their mind. Others would like to see it go unsanctioned or go with USMTS. I don't see much difference except maybe a few more big names and a little better purse if USMTS gets it PLUS........
It seems like a fit to me that an O'Reilly Auto Parts backed SUPR Late Model Show paired with an O'Reilly USMTS show would work outfine so...
Let's just simplify it. Two choices: USMTS or IMCA?

seriously WoO - although I'd be more for a big ASCS ho-down. hell, they could run SST, and ASCS Nat. or Sooner, and maybe some more sprint cars too - and then mods. yeah, that would perfect.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a

Thanks David. USMTS is doing quite well on whowon too.
On Sprints, isn't funny how Lowe's Motor Speedway can run WoO Sprints & Late Models for megabucks at their Dirt Track and all TMS can run is $3000 to win SUPR Lates & 3 day, $3000 to win Mod shows? Surely they can find a way to do more if Lowe's can don't you think?

Yep, I posed that question on elbowsup and got a lame excuse. In fact, I think that Lowes runs the dirt track more than just two times a year and not a problem with track prep and sprint guys enjoy racing there.
Maybe TMS should travel there and take notes.
