George (Bob) Walker passes away. Everyone knew him as Bob, one of the original founding members of the National Championship Racing Association passed away from complications from pneumonia Saturday, March 15, 2008. He was 77 years old. He held the position of executive secretary for over 20 years with NCRA until he retired. He was a Snap On Tool dealer and also drove a street stock at the old Tulsa Speedway at the Fairgrounds and at one time was editor of the Tulsa Speedway News. He is reposing at Moore's Eastlawn Funeral Home 1908 S. Memorial, Tulsa, OK. Viewing hours are 10:00AM until 9:00 PM Tuesday March 18, 2008. His Funeral will be Wednesday, March 19, 2008 11:00AM at St. Pius Church, 1727 S. 75 E. Ave. Tulsa, OK (17th St and 75 E. Ave. between Sheridan & Memorial) Our sincere condolences to the Walker family. Cards of sympathy will reach his wife Kathryn Walker at 1211 S. 101 E. Ave. Tulsa, OK 74128-4625.
