Again I just want to stress that this look at who will be attending the $10,000 to win Thunder in the Park modified race at Enid Speedway Park in Enid, Oklahoma is NOT affiliated with the track but rather a "media" members gathering of what modified drivers are planning on attending this March 28-30 event.
Whitey Folk of Iola, Kansas will be attending the Thunder in the Park with a 434 cu inch engine powering the Mach 1 house car. Sponsors are Mach 1 racecars, Iola transmission, Folk Bros racing engines, Duralight Wheels, Outlaw Motorsports and BSB Manufacturing.
Jason Schniepp of Wichita, Kansas will be piolting the Shaw by Taylor, KBS motors modified with sponsorship coming from Wichita Towers, Provence Construction and KBS Motors. Glen Hibbard of Mans, Texas will compete in his PCR/Larson modified. Sponsors include Texas Star Concrete Services, Builders Electric, Kosiski Auto Parts, Affiliated Auto Glass, ASPCA, Fast Shafts and Stinson Racing Engines George White from Fort Worth, Texas will make his appearance in the PCR/Larson chassis powered by Chevy/Wells Racing Engine modified. Sponsors include Builders Electric, Wells Racing Engines, Fast Shafts, Truck Pro, Havoline, Metroplex Welding, Pro Shocks, Truck and Trailer Service.
Dave Hardesty from Minneapolis, KS will be attending Enids $10,000 to win. He is driving a Hughes Chassis with a BMS Engine. Sponsors: Walmsley Trucking, Ottawa County Bank, Double K Hunts, Lawn Master, Lynn's Truck Repair, Rhino Linings of Salina by SPS, Sunflower Reality, Phil Pieschl Construction, B&B Waste and Septic.
Joe Duvall from South Turley, Oklahoma will be using a BMS powered Shaw chassis, sponsord by Duvall Electric, JDR Ent. and 5150 Jerry Brown from Prescott, Kansas will be competing. He drives a BMS mod with a 410 chevy motor, His sponsors are Metcalf Auto Plaza of Overland Park, Kansas and Sugar Valley Golf Resort of Mound City, Kansas
Chad Wheeler of Muskogee, Oklahoma has emailed stating he will competing aboard his Hoffman H2 chassis powered by BMS Engines. His sponsors include Wheeler Metals, Lincoln Electric, BMS Racing Engines, Hoffman race cars, Simpson Race Products, Cutting Edge Graphics, Makita, Krylon and Eagle Landscaping.
Delbert "The Iceman" Smith of Wichita, Kansas is going to enter this event with car owner Rick Meier of Great Bend, Kansas possibly entering a second car for the weekend. Fastmaster will be the chassis of choice while Circle R Sales of Great Bend and BSB Manufacturing of Wellington are his sponsors.
