When fans and racing teams arrive to Cowtown Speedway’s season opener on March 8th, they will be greeted by even more track improvements and the most aggressive schedule in Track history.

The Rawdon family has spared no expense in the off-season in preparing the high-banked ¼-mile speed plant for what is sure to go down as an incredible racing season.

Topping the charts of special events in 2008 include a whopping six nights of ASCS sprint car action. This also includes a two-day ASCS National Tour event on October 10-11th. And joining in on that weekend’s blockbuster action will be the infamous Topless 100 for modifieds, which has become a fan favorite. The event also kicks off points for the 2nd annual Short Track Shootout (visit
www.darinshort.com/shootout.html for more information) that will conclude at I-30 Speedway’s Short Track Nationals on October 23-25.

The Cowtown Speedway season will end with the 2nd running of the November Sprint Shootout on November 7-8th. Last year’s NSS left fans with enough exciting racing memories to last throughout the off-season.

Joining the weekly racing card in 2008 will be the wildly popular Winged 600’s. Drivers of all ages fill the field with fast side-by-side action that is very well suited for Cowtown Speedway’s track layout.

The Lonestar Dwarf Car Club (
www.LSDCC.com ) also joins in on the action nine nights throughout the season, bringing full-fields of cars and close racing action.

And as in 2007, you will be able to purchase tickets for all Cowtown Speedway events at the track website, CowtownSpeedway.com – at no additional charge. On occasion, there are advance ticket special pricing opportunities on the track site as well.

For professionally run, fast-paced racing action, make Cowtown Speedway your Saturday night home in 2008. Please visit
