Lol, I had never heard of this kid until the last few weeks. I have no idea if he can drive but he is interesting in post race lately.

The incident reminds me of an enjoyable memory from years back at a sprint car race. An incident on track between a big guy and a little guy caused a red flag. As big guy was sitting in his car, little guys got out of his car and decided to go discuss the matter with big guy. Little guy stuck his head inside the cockpit of big guy's car, thinking he had a captive audience to voice his opinion on the matter. Big guy was belted in and had arm restraints on. He kinda bear-hugged little guy and half-way yanked him into the cockpit with him. From the stands, all you could see was little guy's legs and feet, kicking in the air. Eventually the officials convinced big guy to let go and little guy walked back to his pit stall, tail between his legs. Good times.

Carson probably has the talent. Lot of diiference in the type of racing and open wheels cars. Several NASCAR drivers enjoy dirt racing but not many owners will let them race very often due to possible injuries. Larson and Day are exceptions and Bell sometimes. Carson is a great PR man but his lack of respect will eventually catch up to him. But good for NASCAR as they need something fo bring fans back.

Talladaga is in a few weeks. You can watch 3-1/2 hours of zero-racing, 180 mph rush-hour traffic, followed by 5 minutes of demo derby, followed by a top-5 finish by 1 or 2 cars that aren't even in the top 30 in points, followed by a boxing match. Close enough?
Ya---I won't be watching either.
