Heard on Flo that Brad Sweet had indicated he was through racing Sprint Cars. It is obviously speculation on my part, but I have a suspicion that his concussion at Eldora was pretty bad, and he either has not fully recovered and/or he does not feel it is in his best interest to get back behind the wheel any longer. Sad to think that maybe this is the case, but if so congrats to him for both a great career and for making an informed rational decision.

That seems logical when he had problems on the fast half miles. My first thought was lingering effects from the concussion when his vision played tricks on him at Eldora. Hopefully he's seeing someone if that is what he's experiencing. The NFL had to deal with CTE and develop a protocol but Sprint Car racing isn't equipped to deal with things like that because it's not economically feasible.
