Isn't it funny that any thread that includes bashing, name calling, negativity, and so on, gets hit after hit and reply after reply, yet a post that is short and sweet, and positive gets no action. It's literally a microcosm of what today's society and too many race fans are like.
Sad.

Gio has been right there  just a matter of time and circumstances and He earned it. The Posse try to protct their turf but HL and WOO regulars like 6 digit payouts.I think he started fourth .

Well, I guess that is one theory. Maybe an honest response is worth conisdering? Some posters on here can get pretty testy. After a while, it's just easier to ignore those types. Unfortunately, when one of those types of posters does post something good, most people tend to just pass. I have my detractors. I get it. Society definately has it's ills, but I don't feel like all race fans, or all people are going to hell in a handbasket.

A couple other thoughts I'd like to point out.
1) Some people can get too serious on internet message boards
2) Egras's mother wears army boots.

Damn it, I wanna be pissed but I just saw her and it's true.....

In all seriousness Murph, how close are you to Huset's?  (I feel like you are from that area if memory serves me)  My wife and I just spent 4 days in Deadwood and Rapid City after a trip out west to Colorado and Wyoming.  Stopped at Black Hills Speedway and took a few pics.  Beautiful area.  At least when compared to the cornfields of Illinois...

I grew up going to Black Hills Speedway. In the 70's, the local hero sprint car racer was Sam Liebig, Shane's dad.  Since 1984 I've been a regular at Husets which is 10 miles from my home. I've probably been there 400-500 times. It's a realy fun race track.

I work in Brandon, so you were less than a mile from my office. I hope you waved from I-90. :

I was rooting for Dietz to win the race- always root for the underdog. I see Dietz redeemed himself tonight.

I'm a fan of that family. Good to see him do well after moving on from KPC, and good to see Haud do well in the KPC ride.

Nice!  We would really like to get to a race at Huset's.  I'm jealous.  Sprint car dead zone near me.  We have our camper setup at Knoxville Raceway--a convenient 4 hour drive!!  ;)

Angell Park is about 1 hour 45

Wilmot is about 2 hours

34 Raceway is about 3 hours

So, we just make the extra couple hour drive and call Knoxville home!
