Production wise flo is much better than dirtvision. Picture quality is way better, ticker on the top of screen out of the way, double box format is better. Dirtvision better up their game. Does flo have certain weekly tracks on every weekend?

Good race Rico had  Aaron and yellow took it away. This time the grandstands were packed. HL is for real which we knew.

Great race.  Enjoyed it.  I'll "fanboy" it all up for you though:

Winning car timed in 3rd quick in his flight.   (Seems unfair, right?  Too much emphasis on qualifying?)

Hardly any movement in the heats.

Winning car drew pole in dash and won dash.

Winning car started on pole of feature.

Top 5 finishers all started in the top 7.

Top 2 guys last night are also the top 2 in HL points.

If this were "another" series, it would have been nothing but a bunch of bitching and complaining.  However, throw a little lipstick on the pig, make up a pretend "invert" for the heats, and PRESTO---what a great night of racing compared to the "other" series.  LMFAO

It actually was a great night of racing.  From my previous points, reminds me a lot of the great nights of racing I also see on DV.  I enjoy both because they're almost identical.

it was a good race and I'm glad they got it in. Flo is the only streaming deal I have, I've had it since 2017 and really just purchased it to watch USAC so I have no comment on DV. Flo has had some problems and yes my little super techies many of my issues with them were from their side. My problems with them are few these days which makes this customer happy

. I don't mind the HL group and I don't mind the outlaws either, but I get to see HL for FREE with my Flo subscription. There are many outlaw an HL races in my area but I won't pay to go see them, the exception is the outlaw show at Lincoln. I just don't think their products and gimmicks are worth that kind of money. To me the race was the same no matter which series promoted it, fast cars starting up front all night long, big deal.  Why don't these two groups run a six car invert like USAC, the fast cars still get to the front in that series?  Would the teams boycott and protest if that were to happen?

Remember, there are fanboys in every form of racing. You have to ask yourself a question , do I have what it takes to be the numero uno fanboy? There are a few on this site proving their mettle. Congrats guys.

"six car invert like USAC"   You can't see the difference in USAC and winged 410's?  If you're talking 6-car inverts for heats, that's a death sentence for the night for winged-410's if you time in fast...so why time in fast...which brings in sandbagging...which defeats the purpose of qualifying.

Also, you don't see the HL "for free" with your Flo subscription.  You paid for it when you subscribed to watch USAC.  (I subscribed to Flo to watch the High Limit, so I can watch USAC, but I paid for it)

Highspeeddirt-
You obviously do not watch DirtVision!!.

DirtVision offers 4 multi- screens to choose from to watch the race. And just last week unveiled the new extensive timing and scoring feature that has realtime updates. I believe it is the same system used in the scoring tower.

Before you start bashing another product, maybe do your homework.

DirtVision is miles ahead of FLO in terms of add-ons to improve your viewing.

You must be a High Limit fan, all you want to do is bash the WOO.

The truth is there is no magical formula to create good racing, that's a fallacy. It just sort of happens organically.

Most nights you are not going to to see a big charge from the back, everyone is too good.

I do enjoy A-Aron dominating the ASCoC 2.0 though.

Dude you're confused. I started subscribing to Flo in '17 just for usac only. I understood that they offered other types of racing and other sporting content but I didn't care because I just wanted to see the usac shows, so anything else I felt like viewing I considered a bonus. HL comes out a couple of years ago and is on Flo so I get another bonus. I'm not paying for HL more than any other content they have. Now if Flo came out and wanted to charge me 40 buck extra to watch a HL race then you would be correct, but I wouldn't pay that kind of money. I doubt I would pay 10 bucks a race to watch them. You can try to spin this out of context all you want but since I'm paying for my subscription I'll tell you how it is for me. End of that story.

I was kind of joking about the six car invert but not really. Don't they have a big invert for knoxville and I believe somehow fast cars still get to the front. These days I'm wondering why winged 410's even run heat races? Why not unload and run warm ups, time trial, one non qualifier race, then run a big four invert feature. That sure would save the teams some money.

I am an Outlaw homer, but generally enjoy the HL broadcast more.    I don't know if they use different camera set ups or what, but I generally think that the Flo broadcast are cleaner and brighter that DV.    I also think that Johnny Gibson is a national treasure, but I would rather listen to the Flo broadcast of the DV broacast.    Johnny sounds like a track announcer trying to do TV work where the Flo stuff just seems more made for TV.

There is tons of whining every year on here about the invert at the Nationals. It has become almost as much of a tradition as the locals claiming the Outlaws would have to step up their game if they want to beat Brownie at the Nationals.

As much as you enjoyed one of the guys that can't beat Reutzel finding easier competition and kicking the shit out of your boys recently?

The difference is that USAC guys get their qualifying times back if they make the feature...& the fast timers usually do. Fast timer starts 6th in the heat & only has to pass 2 guys to qualify for the feature. Low car count? 6 guys qualify from the heats, all the fast timer has to do is hold his position... which kinda sucks for Eastern Storm cause almost everybody qualifies

There's a 6 car invert in the feature too, so fastest qualifier who makes it out of the heats starts 6th. So you need to a top 6 qualifier to have a good chance. That would make sandbagging pretty tricky... who can predict what other guys do & control his time within tenths or hundredths of seconds?

I don't think there's any completely fair way to lne up these races, but an invert makes it more interesting, IMHO
