I am probably not the only one here that is getting tired of Reutzel chopping drivers off and blocking anybody who gets a decent run attempting to pass him. I am thinking he may deserve getting punted if he keeps it up. Latest example was his last lap antics with Sunshine. It is a long season and paybacks can be a bitch.

Do you think AR is the only one who does that?

No, he is not the only one, it just seems like it is his go to defense each time he gets challenged, rather than giving respect and racing room to whoever challenges him. Blocking in my opinion should not be the first and only option.

I'm with MoOpenwheel. This is so common from 1/2 the field now. Larson (one of my favorite drivers) is the king of cutting guys off. I don't like the move period but I can't single Reutzel out. A nightly show is full of these moves.

Are you also against slide jobs? or short sliders? Or changing your line?

Does anyone remember racing before the shitty sliders started happening? Its been a long time but the racing was still enjoyable. Today we have...... If I can make it slide jobs....just flat out body slam a driver you cant get by them... chop suey being a standard move as soon as you clear another car. There is more drama in sprint cars these days, I guess the big wigs figure that's what the masses want to see.

Alll I can add is that when Brad Sweet was in his multiple years as the Outlaw champion, he would avoid racing anywhere on the track that was close to Reutzel. It was very obvious. Sweet would make uip for the races that he finished lower due to avoiding A-Ron by being so consistent in all of the other races.

When was that? It must have been before I started going to the races in 1973. All those things were prevalent then in sprint car racing, and the cars didn't have wings. It's hard to imagine any time when race car drivers weren't aggressive.

I am not against short or regular slide jobs. I am just in favor of giving drivers a racing lane when you pass them. Don-t just immediately chop them off and make them brake or crash. On a slide job you can usually cross them over and drive underneit.
