Weis markets is a Pa grocery chain what's so interesting? Try reading the story before making assumptions.

Another one of those who think a business makes money by losing money. I am sure they and Weis markets are expecting a return on their investment.

He was also strangely silent when the WoO tripled the point fund in the last few years and helped subsidize more than a few big purse increases....

Hmm, not very interesting and not really the WoO upping their purse. Just a track getting some extra sponsorship. Hmm, again, not all that interesting!

Whenever anyone mentions tax write-offs like this, it empathizes that the person is ignorant about how businesses actually works. It also opens the possibility that they are ignorant on a lot of other subjects.

So pointing out that a grocery store sponsering a race in their home state is smack talk to you then you have a lot of work to do in that department but keep trying you might get there someday.

Reminds me of Seinfeld:

So we're gonna make the Post Office pay for my new stereo now?

Cosmo Kramer:
It's a write-off for them.

Jerry:
How is it a write-off?

Cosmo Kramer:
They just write it off.

Jerry:
Write it off what?

Cosmo Kramer:
Jerry, all these big companies, they write off everything.

Jerry:
You don't even know what a write-off is.

Cosmo Kramer:
Do you?

Jerry:
No, I don't.

Cosmo Kramer:
But they do. And they're the ones writing it off.

My accountant used to tell me. Every new customer that comes in here thinks he can just write off everything and have nothing coming in. He also said, you want to get audits, that's the fastest way to do it.
