Kyle Larson Looking for 600 Shootout Ride - Tulsa OK Dec. 28-30th

I will be in Tulsa for the Shootout running my 500cc Outlaw Kart for the last time and am wondering if there might be a 600 ride available. I am 15 years old and ran 410 and 360 sprint cars in the Western U.S. At 14, I was the youngest ever allowed to race sprint cars in California. I am the California Civil War Series Rookie of the Year and won two main events. I was just nominated for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Rookie of the Year in both the 410 and 360 divisions. I think I am the first driver under 16 allowed to race with the World of Outlaws and ran four races at the end of the season the Gold Cup at Chico, Manzanita in Phoenix, Perris and Tulare. I would sure like to race a 600 when I'm there. I will give your car a good chance to win, and will treat your equipment with respect. If interested please give my dad, Mike, a call at 916-479-4115, or send an e-mail to [email protected] check out my website www.kylelarsonracing.com.

thanks, Kyle

USAC driver in the '50s-'60s. Second only to Johnny Thomson in Silver Crown wins one year. His was an interesting story.

Your on the way to becoming a great racer. Don't forget several things on the way....don't forget to be a kid, enjoy your youth. The second is to get a good education! Racing careers can and do end abruptly and everyone needs something to fall back on. Elbos up! If your gonna do it ....do it well.

I second that JayP! As someone has gone to many years of college and got my degree, I think it is very important for people to get an education especially in this day and age. It's hard work, but it does pay off in the end. Shoot I liked school soo much I became a teacher, lol!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!
