I am thankful also that we didn't blow a motor but we did total a 4-wheeler. Happy Thanksgiving to everybody and their families.

Who in their right might would do something like wreck a four-wheeler? And to think they bought themselves a limited modified for next year. Scary, very scary.

I am thankful that my old junkyard motor lasted all year and won me enough money to pay for it about 3 times over again , lol and I am thankful for the dry slick tracks around the state , except at okc and I am thankful for somebody inventing the combination of RED BULL AND VODKA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

for personal thankfullness. Today wasn't just thanksgiving it was also my moms birthday (happens once every 4 years)........so it was a pretty big day all round - and didn't do 1 dinner or anything else elsewhere. Yeah I'm a momma's boy big time. So I'm thankful for her in a big way.

Racing Related? I'm thankful for the friends I have met thru racing. The Whitworths, the Porters, Mr. Lenhart, Chris Smith, and many others. They are great folks and I have always have a blast hangin out with em whether it be the stands, the pits, or the nearest hooters I'm thankful I had the opportunity to see my 1st Chili Bowl , Tulsa Shootout, my 7th Knoxville 360 Nationals, and my 1st Short Track Nationals, along with Winter Nationals of the Edwards Enterprises variety, and of course the many ascs and sfs shows. I've always wanted to have a year like this - and if I never have it again - at least I did this year. I'm thankful I got to see some other new tracks as well (like the TMS Dirt Track with champsprint50). it was cold, but it was cool. and also seeing other places for the 1st time such as OSP in Ada, I-30 in Little Rock, the Tulsa Expo. I've seen more "first time" tracks in 2006 and 2007 than 23 years leading up to it. and finally - I'm thankful for this forum and all the folks who frequent it. Whether it's thoughts, ideas, or BS - I enjoy talkin to all of ya'll.............you are cool folks.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving.

as for next year - can't wait to see Mr. Danger (Whitworth Sr.) get behind the wheel of a modified. Seriously - all who have met Mike know he's a cool customer.........but if the OKC 5/8ths provided any indication - I'm bettin the moment he gets behind the wheel - we'll see the resurrection of Evil Knievel. lol. I'm jokin man - good luck next year.
