Anybody else see the huge driller has been decorated to look like Elon Musk? They're trying to get the Cybertruck factory in Tulsa and felt that this would be a fun little way to entice them. Who knows, with a guy like Musk, who's ego is roughly the size of the state of Oklahoma, it just might work.
As a random aside, I saw a while back that people were musing about the potential for electric sprint cars in the future, and it got me to thinking.... wouldnt that be great for tracks whi have issues with their neighbors and noise? I mean, lets be real, the smell and the sound is half of what makes going to a race so much fun, but its kind of interesting to think about.
They just had an electric dragster do a 7 second/201 mph pass on the quarter mile and it was infinitely more quiet than a Top Fuel nitro car. It was surreal how quiet it was.
