Just out of curiosity, why would you want to run a 305, rather than a 360? They can't be any cheaper, based just on size. Do the rules also specify iron block & heads, etc.?
Dick.

It is actually extremely cheeper than a 360. Some 305 classes are getting out of hand, but that is because they opened the engine rules and money can make anything faster. It is also a good learning class and all the teams are very friendly and willing to help everyone learn. This was only or second year in so that is worth a lot to us.
