Sorry but I'm axiously lookin forward to this last great race of 2007 - and the weather looks great for it too- way better than it was for the STN. Sorry OKC, I didn't see your post until now. But here's what I can tell you for right now:
Between the track and its website, driver entries have now come in from throughout the region, including: SD, IN, MN, NM, OK & TX.
After practice on Thursday, we'll put together a list of drivers at the event. Right now we're expecting between 45-60 sprint cars, plus full fields in the Modified, Winged Mini-Sprint & Limited Modified divisions.
The weather is also still looking good, with highs daily in the 75-80 degree range, with little or no precip projected.
Regarding format, it is somewhat dependant on car count in each class. But typically, Friday is heat races for all classes, plus the complete field is split into two or three Qualifying A-features and the top 3 finishers, or so, in those are locked into the Saturday night championship feature. Then typically Saturday night is last-chance races to fill out the Championship feature line-ups.
The sprint car feature will be 35 laps on Saturday night.
No DTT's during the weekend. (dreaded time trials)
