Yesteryear...
1881 - Doc Holliday joined the Earp brothers, Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan, in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, AZ.
They went up against members of the Clanton gang of suspected cattle rustlers. Wyatt Earp and Billy Clanton opened the battle -- the most famous gunfight of the Old West -- with Doc shooting Billy in the chest. Less than thirty seconds later, three men lay dead and three were wounded. Doc had shot each of the dead cowboys at least once. Virgil had been shot in the leg and Morgan through both shoulders. Holliday was wounded in the hip. Only Wyatt Earp survived the fight untouched.

Today...
Next Shootout at the OK Corral in Harrah, OK will commence bout sundown come November 3rd and again November 17 for the survivors. Hear tale them varmits have one of em wavin' a gol durn surrender white flag just when the goin gits good. Weapons of choice for these here nowdays shootouts seems to be automatics firing off bout 5,000 rounds per minute and from what I hear they are some large calibers.
No Combines are allowed, but I was told the got some smaller versions called mowers. No horses are allowed, but they got some kindy like a hose only with wheels, and no wagons but they got some contraption with four wheels there.
Iffin' ya gots one of them things ta mount up n ride, or wana sit by the stove n watch em go after it, be there bout sundown on the 3r and 17th of November, and six more times this here coming up winter as it is too gol durn cold outside to be a doin' much else in these parts.
Psssst, keep this under your hat, here tale there may be a swig of moonshine and a toak of grape vine after the Shootout back of the barn.
Bart, Bret, Guy, Red, ya'all gettin' wind of this?
See ya there pardners
