This information came from a driver's team (not anyone that has anything to do with Schatz). Believe me if you want, but I'm not making it up. The source is reliable and if I told you who it was you would all agree that it is reliable. It doesn't mean that things won't change between now and next year though.

If Steve Kinser can find a major sponsor for Kraig Kinser to run a second car, Tim Kaeding will be in the 20 for TSR. If SK cannot find a major sponsor, Kraig will be in the 20. This is the scenario unless something changes.

Lasoski will be starting his own team with Schwann's as the sponsor. Roth is not folding. His new driver will likely be Craig Dollansky, as the number 7 team is folding.

The number 35 is folding.

McMahon is without a ride, but will likely be Saldana's teammate in 2009 when KK has everything in order to have a second team.

Both TSR cars will run J&J chassis with Shaver motors, just as Schatz runs now. The testing with the JEI showed that the J&J is just a better chassis for the TSR teams.

Well golly...you've always been such an accurate source of information in the past.

I find it hard to believe that given TK's performance on dirt and that of the "prodigal" son over the course of the past two/three seasons...

Unless maybe this is some how tied to SK's undermining/back door sabotage/thief in the night/NST "partner" screwing (just my constitutionally protected opinion)...naw, how could TSR be involved in anything like that?

The crowd squeezer spent all the Boyd's money...imagine that.

That makes some sense. I am curious why Wright would leave, but oh well. Hopefully if, and it is only and if at this time, this happened that Jac can find another car or team. I would love to see Woodward and Jac be together. The good thing on Jac is that he sells memorobilia and is a "name" in racing.

I got a stupid question (there are no stupid questions right!) What happened to Kraig with the NASCAR thing? I honestly do not follow it and do not know but I am glad to hear him possibly coming back to sprintcars.

The team that kraig drove for merged more or less with dei. The truck that kraig drove is being driven by someone else. I do not think kraig will find anything in the truck series maybe bucsh. It is a surprise to find out that the karavan team is folding. Does anyone know what will become of brandon wimmer? I think the selma shell team may be parked if they cannot find sponsorship. It is going to be an interesting winter.

Man, my E-Mail is so backed up. The stuff I have been privy to recently was that:

-Bobby Davis Jr., is heading out in Quentin Bammers No. 18

-Richard Lupo is gonna hit selected shows for Bobby Allen in a No. 2A.

-Dave Blaney hooks up with Texan Mike Bishop in a No. 2.

-Haudenschild into a team car to Tim Green under Ed Watson's money.

-Gil Suiter will change his number to 3 and has a verbal commit from Rocky Hodges.

-Danny Mansfield will start the season for John Baumann, but word has it Marlon Jones might take a spin by season's end.

-Rumor of Dean Chadd to cruise in Bob Vielhauers 12X...

Updates to the inbox are appreciated, not heard a whole lot about this Schatz kid, is he good locally?

Now that I think about it as I sit in my office those Schwan's concept cars look pretty good.

Rick Wright is out of money. That's the word. To answer the question above. It's really too bad. If they could ever qualify they'd have been a Top 5 or 6 team and MAYBE have some money left to run another year.

My hunch is that Jac Haudenschild will return to the 83 Roth car.

Pretty hard for Madsen and Dollansky to run when they don't have a big sponsor. Much of the teams are running off of owners that have a huge sum of money but at sometime it winds down cuz they don't own a big business anymore or don't have that revenue coming in like they use to. Look at Rick Wright (35), Scott Boyd (7), Dennis Roth (83), David Helm w/Selma Shell (11H) and even Chad Hillier. So many teams have associate sponsors and lack the Q Oil, Parker Stores, Bass Pro Shops, Open Joist, Titan Garages and Carports, Elite Landscaping, Big Game Treestands.

How are teams like Jason Sides, Jeremy Campbell, Sam Hafertepe Jr., Chad Hillier gonna make it much longer either?? They're all living for a big sponsor to come by so they can keep racing.

On another thought.. i had heard during the season that Dollansky was trying to get Schwan's ice cream to come onboard. I knew Danny was looking to run his own deal if he could find a sponsor, but nowhere have i heard that it would be Schwan's, and Dollansky folding to run with Roth!!!

Maybe its time for partnerships for sprint car teams. Already happened to some in our area. 1/2 the cost. Not alot of big time sponsors around.
